Questions
How Shft Money works, what it costs and who holds your money. Shft Money's fees are all on the pricing page.
The account
What is Shft Money?
A business account for people who earn online, starting with Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Clients pay you by card through a payment link or checkout, viewers tip you while you stream, and you withdraw to a bank account in your own name, in your own currency.
Is Shft Money a bank?
No. Shft Money is not a bank. Payments, balances and payouts are provided by Whop and its financial partners.
Who holds my money?
Whop and its financial partners. Your balance sits in a Whop account in your name, and Whop's financial partners hold the funds. Shft Money builds the product on top of that account: the links, checkout, tip alerts, team access and fee breakdowns. How your money is held explains who does what.
Who is Shft Money for?
Freelancers, small agencies and creators in Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka first: people with clients or viewers abroad who want to pay by card. It works for online businesses in most other countries too.
Can I open an account where I live?
We're starting with Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. In all four, Whop verifies your identity and pays out to local banks in your currency. Whop supports sellers in most other countries too, and you'll see during setup if yours is covered. Whop can't serve sanctioned countries.
What does it cost to open an account?
Nothing. Opening an account is free. Shft Money takes 1% on tips and 3% on sales through links and checkout, and 0% on both for your first 15 days. See Pricing for everything else.
What happens to my account if I stop using Shft Money?
Your Whop account is in your name and stays yours.
Getting paid
How do my clients pay me?
You can send a payment link in an email or chat, share a hosted checkout page, or put checkout on your own website. Buyers pay by card or one of 100+ payment methods Whop shows in their region.
What currency are prices in?
US dollars. You set prices on links and checkout in USD.
Can I take tips while I stream?
Yes, and only while you're live. Start your stream in the control room and viewers can tip from your page until you end it. Each tip pays for that stream, and an alert with the viewer's message shows on screen. Add the alert to OBS or Streamlabs as a browser source. Viewers can choose to add the fees on top.
How do live challenges work?
While you're live, viewers can suggest a challenge. You accept or pass, and they pay only after you accept. If you accept a paid challenge and don't do it on that stream, you refund the viewer in full within 7 days, from your Whop dashboard.
How much can a viewer tip?
From $5 to $1,000 per tip.
Can buyers add the fees on top when they pay for a product?
No. Adding the fees is only for tips. On links and checkout, the buyer pays the price you set.
Can I send an invoice?
Invoices are coming soon. Until then, you can send a payment link for the amount on your invoice.
How do refunds work?
You refund a payment from your Whop dashboard. When you do, Shft Money's fee on that payment isn't returned.
What about disputes and chargebacks?
You're the seller, so you respond to disputes on your sales, under Whop's rules. Whop charges a $15 fee for each dispute, taken from your balance with any amount the buyer gets back.
Withdrawing
Where can I withdraw my money?
To a bank account in your own name, in your local currency. In Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, that's a local bank. Elsewhere, Whop pays out in 187+ countries, and the methods depend on the country. Each one shows its fee and timing before you confirm.
Which banks can I withdraw to?
Pakistan: HBL, Meezan Bank, UBL and Faysal Bank.
Nepal: Nabil Bank, NIC Asia, Global IME, Himalayan Bank and 40 more.
Bangladesh: BRAC Bank, Dutch-Bangla Bank, Eastern Bank, City Bank and 56 more.
Sri Lanka: Commercial Bank, Bank of Ceylon, Hatton National Bank, Sampath Bank and 33 more.
That's Whop's list on 27 September 2026. The withdrawal screen shows the current list. Whop can also send a bank wire to other banks, at a higher fee.
Can I withdraw to JazzCash, Easypaisa, bKash or eSewa?
Not yet. Whop doesn't offer mobile wallets in these countries today, so withdraw to a bank account in your name. If Whop adds them, they'll appear on the withdrawal screen.
What currency do withdrawals arrive in?
Your country's currency: rupees in Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka, and taka in Bangladesh. Whop converts your dollars at its own rate, shown before you confirm. Whop can't pay out to a US dollar account in these countries.
Is there a minimum withdrawal?
$10 to a local bank in Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Other methods show their minimum before you confirm.
How long does a withdrawal take?
Whop usually estimates the next business day for a local bank in Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh, and 2 business days in Sri Lanka. Money from a new payment can take a couple of days to become available first. The timing is shown before you confirm.
Can I withdraw to someone else's account?
No. Withdrawals only go to payout methods in the account holder's own name.
Does Shft Money charge a fee to withdraw?
No. There's no Shft Money fee on withdrawals. Whop charges its own withdrawal fee, which depends on the method and is shown before you confirm.
The card
Is there a card?
Eligible US-registered businesses can spend their balance with Whop's own card, under Whop's US card terms. Shft Money doesn't issue a card of its own. Businesses registered outside the US can't get the card.
Security and team
How does identity verification work?
Whop needs to confirm who you are before money can leave your balance. You verify in Whop's secure frame, on Shft Money's pages, with your national ID card, passport, driving licence or residence permit, and a selfie. Whop may ask for more. Shft Money never sees your documents.
Does Shft Money see my bank details?
You enter them in Whop's secure frame, and Shft Money never sees your account number. Like you, we can see the bank's name and the last few digits, so your withdrawals show where the money went.
Can my team use the account?
Yes. You can invite an admin, a teammate or your accountant. Your accountant can see money, payments and reports, and can set sales categories and close months in Books. Only the owner can withdraw or verify the account.
Books
Can I get my books for my accountant?
Yes. Books keeps every payment, fee, refund and withdrawal in your Shft Money account as double-entry books, month by month. You can see a monthly summary and a profit and loss, close a month when it's done, and export CSV files for Xero, QuickBooks or a spreadsheet. Your accountant can use Books with their own login.
Does Books work out my taxes?
No. Shft Money isn't a tax adviser. Books records what happened in your Shft Money account, in US dollars. It doesn't work out sales tax, VAT or income tax, and it isn't a tax return. Ask your accountant how to report the income where you live.
Coming soon
What's coming next?
Invoices, Shft Pro at $10 a month with 0% on tips and sales, and help forming a US company. All three are coming soon and none of them are live yet.
